Tropical Depression #9

The City of Naples continues to monitor the trajectory of Tropical Depression Nine and its potential strengthening, path, and possible impacts to our area. As of the 11:00am National Weather Service Advisory, Tropical Depression Nine is located approximately 1015 miles southeast of Havana, Cuba and is moving WNW at 14MPH. Maximum sustained winds are near 35mph.

The City of Naples encourages all residents and visitors to review their preparedness plans and stay informed on local updates.  The path of the storm and its impacts are still highly uncertain.  Do not focus on the exact forecast track as average errors in the Day 4 and 5 time frames are around 150-200 miles.  Stay informed by receiving emails, CodeRED alerts, installing our Fire-Rescue app, or visit our website at www.naplesgov.com.
